i really like stoner movies. dazed and confused is a good one that i like. dude where's my car is a bad movie that i like. a lot. um, slackers, half baked, oo and that one with method man and redman.... i can't remember the name of it. funny as hell though. best line from it: "more cushion for the pushin'" (referring, of course, to sex). heh. hoo boy o man. "how high", that's the name of it.

i also like zombie movies. cheesy ones. "dead alive" was amazing. also return of the living dead part 2 ("get the damn screwdriver out of my head!")

ooooooo AND

The Jerk

with steve martin. i can't even begin to explain how great that movie is... but:
"this is the best pizza in a cup i've ever had!"
a neat anecdote about me and that movie is that i always saw the edited version on WPIX channel 11 here in the northeast around NYC. and when bernadette peters was looking for her son she said he was "wearing a white shirt that says blue shirt on it"... i thought that was brilliant. i wanted a white shirt that said "blue shirt", what a cool idea, right? so anyway then i saw the unedited version and it turns out the shirt said "bullshit" on it. they edited "bullshit" => "blue shirt". i think that made the movie better. how often does that happen?

yeah.

and hell while i'm at it i guess i can admit that i like bridget jones' diary. doesn't make me any less of a man.

i also like brad pitt movies. the mexican and ocean's eleven (the new one, i never saw the old one) were really good. doesn't make me less of a man either, he always plays cool guys that i like to watch. same with hugh grant. that also does not make me less of a man.

and yeah spaceballs was great.

i also liked wild wild west. you got a problem with that? i'll give you three good reasons why it's good:
1. a modern western. we need more of those
2. salma hayek
3. GIANT ROBOT SPIDERS how cool is that?

um and the kevin smith movies besides chasing amy were good. i don't like sad movies. not that chasing amy was bad, just, sad. fuck that.

ghostbusters has to be one of the best movies ever.

and would anyone disagree with me if i said that i've never seen a movie that looked as good as Starship Troopers? i'm not talking about special effects necessarily... but watch that movie and tell me if it doesn't make you think that every other film shot before or since was shot with some crappy Zenith camcorder. watch it on a Sony Vega tv if you have one around.

fear and loathing in las vegas

actually i guess i like way too many movies to say which are the best. i could go on forever.

i'll stop now before everyone thinks i'm a post count whore. or an idiot with bad taste in movies.
