Finally i will introduce you to the wonders of Swedish gothic bands yes. ;)

I know most of you Secondshifters listeners heard the band Beseech a couple of times by now and i am sorry to say that the band has disbanded a time ago but no need to worry two new bands has been formed from the first one.

Link to the beseech website the music is still worth getting and the dvd will most likely be awesome.

http://www.beseech.net/

It seems that the members could not get along and decided it was time to go separate ways.

First off Those We Don’t Speak Of[TWDSO] a pretty difficult name but still a pretty solid band to me they sound a bit like Luna Coil or similar bands.
You can listen to a couple of songs on their website and it seems promising.

http://www.twdso.com/

The second band is called The Mary Major and is according to them not really gothic but more of an alternative rock style but to me it is almost the sound we came to love with Beseech. It is the band with the most ex Beseech members.
Forums and news is available there but check out their myspace below for songs they are awesome.

Time for a new and unknown band from Sweden. ;)

Lynn is a fairly new band from Borås i heard them last year live just before i was going to a festival there. I was surprised how good they were for being a newly formed band.

They sound a bit different on their website then on live it was more pressure into it live but i like the recordings almost more.

Unfortunately their singer left the band and the cd they recorded never got released but if you feel that you are a great singer and wants to move to Sweden it is not too late to apply. B)

Check their website out at www.lynn.se

TWDSO apparently got a new female singer because the other one is pregnant but she will return later on.

LYNN finally got a singer and will record a cd demo this winter.

Tiamat is one of the oldest Swedish gothic rockbands. Originally they sounded more blackmetal and a bit more raw then their current sound.

I can recommend all albums released from 1997 and forward unless you are a real blackmetal fan.

Cool albums:
A deeper kind of slumber, a bit experimental suggestive and dark.

Judas christ, very cool songs perhaps not as dark as A deeper kind of slumber but it is awesome.

Prey, sort of a mixture of the dark and light theme. Features the song "Cain" from the Vampire the masquerade pc game.

Website seems to be suspended or down so here is a wikipedia about the band.
