For those that listened to the podcast a couple weeks ago, you might remember Sanctuary and I getting into a bit of a debate about the legal side of DOMA getting overturned. After we stopped recording, the discussion continued a bit from there, and it brought to mind a few things that I hadn’t thought to explore on air. Well, that’s been brewing in the back of my head a bit since then, so I decided to write a little bit of a rant about where I see things going, over on my personal blog. You can take a look if you’re interested. I’d love to get some feedback.

It was ten years ago that Second Shifters let out its first breath of digital air onto the internet. The stream started broadcasting late in the evening, just as the clock ticked over to June 13th, 2003. Friday. That date wasn’t an accident, and the fact that it was the middle of the night wasn’t just to observe the change of days.
